I recently unpaired to reset my Moto 360 watch and afterward i am getting no notifications from Verizon's Message app.. very frustrating.
I have searched here and the web for an answer but.. nothing
Any help with this would be appreciated
Thanks
Jonasmckee we understand the need to be notified when you are receiving a message. Are you not getting an icon letting you know of a new message or are you not hearing the notification sound? You mentioned this happened after reset. What reset was preformed? Please provide the details.

Thanks for getting back to me, I let someone borrow my watch for a day to see if they would like to buy one.. so I unpaired/reset it before I gave it to him.. the next day I unpaired/reset again and set up my phone again (galaxy s8)
I am familiar with the icon you are speaking of and no I don’t get it.
I don’t get an icon or a vibration..
I don’t know if this is anything but I cant find Verizon Message in any of the apps o my watch, installed or System apps..
I think I remember there was an app called Verizon Message in my watch prior..
Make Sense?

Hello? Just checking back for a solution, frustrating
Jonasmckee, help is here as I know the importance of having all the functions of your smart watch. It was stated that you reset the watch. Did you master reset it? To ensure we are on the same page, the steps to reset goes as followed: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, when the settings menu displays, release the power button, tap reset, tap the check mark, wait for the device to restart. Please keep us posted on your progress.

Yes I have done hard resets 2 different wasy per Mototola Support
I have alo reset and unitalled both Android Wear and Motorola Connect.. then re-installed and still nothing.
If I dis able the verizons message+ and use Samsung built in message app and it works
Hmmmm
That is certainly strange to hear, Jonasmckee. When you initially unpaired your devices, did you make any changes, outside of the unpairing, to the Moto 360 such as an update?

I figured it out, you must access the Play Store on your watch, go to Verizon Messsage+ and install it on the watch. This apparently is new since the Android Wear 2.0
I don’t know why your program required this and the others didn’t though.
Every text program I tried worked with out installing on my watch..
Any way all is well and I can now leave my phone in my pocket when I get text messages again!
