My Messaage+ app no longer makes a sound to alert me that a text has been recieved.

I sent this issue to Verizon several weeks ago and they responded that they were working on it. Still no sound to alert me when a text is received. I am no longer able to find the option to change the alert tone in settings either.

Open the Verizon Messages app, tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner, tap Customize, tap Tones, choose your desired notification tone

Thank you tikibar1. I was hoping changing the ringtone might make a

difference, but it didn't.
