For 6 days now none of the SMS messages are received by anyone. No errors or failures just never received. I receive all messages with no issues tho. I can still send RCS or MMS. for 6 days I've been calling Verizon and they had me reset all different settings on my phone, switched me to eSIM, sync sms to billing. Nothing helped until today when all of a sudden i got a new Verizon agent who said my phone number was put on block because their system noticed hundreds of texts coming from my phone. Nothing new was installed on my phone and in my texting app i don't see any messages besides the few i texted with my family. They can't even override the block and all my SMS messages get quarantined. The lady from support said my "spam" messages seem to be coming from Alaska. I'm in New Jersey.
This doesn't make any sense to me. I've never seen or heard anything like that.
Any ideas?
Find any resolution on this? I was worried it had something to do with my VPN but I've never had a problem before ๐คทโ๏ธ
Not a solution but my issue was fixed by full rebuild of my profile. Too bad it took a week to get to this point and several phone factory resets, which are very annoying.
