I have a Galaxy Note 5. A few days ago there was a system update. Since then my text message app keeps crashing. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this without losing all of my text messages?

Actually, I have switched from the Verizon Messages app to the Samsung messages app and that has seemed to solve the problem for now.
