I bought a new Samsung S8 Plus today and synced it with my old phone. Everything was transferred, but messaging is now showing duplicates and triplicates of older messages that were sent and received. It also shows 1 new message notification, even though I have no new messages. Message+ is the app I'm running, any help would be appreciated!
Duplicate messages are never fun to see so let’s ensure you get this fixed right away Cream_Ranch. We highly recommend deleting all your messages and then restoring the messages back to the phone. If the duplicates are not stored, it will only bring back the right amount. You can restore the messages by opening the Verizon Messages app > selecting the menu button (top left) > choose Restore Messages.
