New Txt spammer strategies to bypass reporting.

The old method of reporting SPAM was to msg 7726, two times.  First with a copy of the spam message, and second with the spammer’s phone number.    I presume so that they could block that number….. Now there is a new twist.   The text message appears to come from a dozen or so numbers on one header.

1.  Is Verizon security aware of this change

2. What is the instruction for reporting this… I surely do not want to submit 12 or so reports.

Rblum100,

You're on point here. Sending the text to us to 7726 is the way to report the spam, and our team will begin to investigate. Here's a link with the details: https://www.verizon.com/about/news/verizon-more-tools-protect-customers-unwanted-spam-texts
