I have a Droid Turbo 2 and I've lost sound on the Message + app since the last update. I've gone through the "Customize" tab as usual to make sure that the correct sound is chosen.
I've tested the same sound in other apps with notifications turned on, and the file works
I've checked to make sure my notification sounds are on and the volume is appropriate
I've tried applying a different notification sound within the "Customize" tab and still no sound.
My mother has a Samsung 7 Edge and she has also lost all sound within this application post-update.
I removed all updates, same problem.
Uninstalled and reinstalled, same problem.
In addition, the message icon that normally appears in the notifications bar does not appear either. I've checked within the app to make sure that this feature is turned on, it is. I've also made sure that this app is listed in the apps that notifications are allowed from within the phone settings.
Any advice?

We want to make sure you get the performance out of Verizon Messages+ that you need, LYNHOP27. How long has this been occuring? What make and model of device are you using? Are you running the latest version of the Verizon Messages+?
