My Samsung s4 will not load pictures in my Verizon messaging app. Unless I log into my Verizon account then they will start to download. This started to happen right after the new update to my phone. I have: Remove battery, Master reset, reinstall Verizon app, called Verizon 6 times no help from them. Anyone have any ideas.

In the Messages+ app under settings, scroll down to Auto Image Download and make sure that Wi-Fi or Cellular is checked and not Never. See if this helps.

I'm still having problems with receiving pictures in my Verizon + Messaging. The pictures will not download unless I log into My Verizon account. I don't even have to click on anything just log into stare at the screen and wait 30 seconds then they start to download.
I have removed the battery, removed the memory card, remove the phone sim card, do a master reset, uninstall Verizon messenger + & reinstall,
This has been going on since the last phone software upgrade

Have you tried the Samsung messenger app instead of Verizon Messages+ application?

Message+ ver 6.6.2 4.3 GB available on phone, been a problem for 2
months

Still no help from Verizon support. Its a shame that I will have to go to close my Verizon account soon if I cant get any help on this & go to T-Mobile. I now have done a Master reset the phone. 3 rd time

We definitely don't want to see you leave like this, SNOWHITE7. To clarify, are you logging into your My Verizon profile through the Messages+ app, or are you logging in using the separate My Verizon App, at which point the pictures start loading?

It only download when I log into my Verizon account. Then wait 30 second and all download start to appeared

I don't have a Twitter account. Should not need it for tech support. Problem has not been fixed its been 4 moths now. Getting ready to go to T-Mobile I found out I get better rates there.

I'm sorry to hear that you're still experiencing this issue, SNOWHITE7. At times Messaging applications can have trouble sending Picture Messages if your inbox is full. Please try deleting the Messages in your inbox and let us know if this helps.

I have an iPhone and sometimes I didn’t receive photos over text from my mom’s galaxy. The issue was her camera was set to the ‘heic’ photo compression. Once we turned it off, I always received pictures from her.
