My phone won't receive any texts from certain contacts. It will for a while, but after that, nothing. It isn't even from all of the contacts, only a select few and it's very inconvenient and annoying.

This is concerning for sure. I am sorry to hear that your device is acting up with your text messages. Are these customers that you aren't able to receive from also VZW customers? What make/model phone do you have? Please share some additional information and details. Thank you.
