Hi, earlier today I set up the Messages+ app on my Win 10 desktop before I had to send my phone in for repairs. Now I want to install Messages+ on my Win 10 laptop, but I am not receiving the security code texts on the app on my desktop. Please advise.
Are you receiving other text messages on the desktop app?
The text is sent to the phone as a security measure so the phone owner is aware that the app is being set up on another device - I'm not sure how or if it could be done, but perhaps the security code text is available ONLY on the phone? If that's not the case, then I don't know why you can't see those texts on the desktop...?
Yeah, I am receiving other messages. I was thinking the same as you, that maybe here's some way that it's sent only to the phone. Ah, well. At least I can open up the Messages web client on my laptop as a sort of solution for that device.
