Online texts not working properly

Son has moto g pure through prepay verizon. Using online messages seems to mess up A LOT. As of earlier today, when viewing texts from a web browser (and yes we have tried  them all) the only messages showing up online are incoming texts. On the phone it shows sent texts, however the online page shows 0 sent texts since many hours ago. Please help.
