PDF size limits

Not sure if PDF files falls into the same catagorie as pictures or videos.

Recieved a 16mb pdf attachment  via gmail that was rejected because it exceeding the size limit.

Is there a limit for pdf files or single data files in general? If so can the limit be increased?

A 16 mb pdf is pretty large - and would be better sent and received on your computer. Do you have a pdf reader on your phone? Or an SD card large enough to store it to transfer to the computer?

My advice is to not worry about the phone rejecting it and just use your email on your computer to access the file - 16 mb of pdf is a lot for any phone to handle.

I can definitely go over the MB size limit for Smart phone sending and receiving Attachments. At this time The limits can't be changed. Here's a great link for email on smart phones. The limits are:

Sending Attachments	4 MB
Receiving Attachments	4 MB
Forwarding Attachments	2 MB
