Phone sends messages either really late or duplicates?

My phone sends messages either like 20 times to someone, or really late.


I don't know why.


Sometimes I can solve the problem by shutting it off, but it always comes back.


What could the problem be?

oh by the way it is a Motorola W755 and is like 6 months old.
