For the past 2 weeks I have been testing multiple texting apps including Google Messages which is the one you recommend using when Verizon Messages goes away. Verizon Messages is so much better. In Verizon Messages I can send 4 minute long videos. I cannot do that in Google messages or any other. I cannot customize my text chats in Google Messages. I can in some of the other apps but they are not RCS enabled. I like to pick myown colors for each person i text with. If i am not on RCS and someone else is in Google Messages they keep getting a message that i may not be online and to send through SMS. Verizon Messages never did this. It was seamless.
When i type ": )" or " ; )" Verizon Messages automatically changes those to emojis. In Google Messages, i have to open the emoji toolbar and pick the one i want.
Verizon Messages even looks more professional and not barebones. Is there any way you can keep Verizon Messaging. I would even be willing to pay a small fee monthly for it like 1.99 or 2.99.
