Can custom notification be assigned to a contact for verizon messenger? I just bought the S20+ and can only assign sounds already on my phone. I want to add other notification sounds.
Custom ringtones need to be saved in the ringtones, notifications, or alarms folder in the phone's internal memory space for the phone to recognize the tones as available for selection.

Did Ann154's information help? We just want to make sure you knew how this could be done, so that you get to enjoy all the features of your phone. To add music to your available tones, you just need to select the "+" in the upper right after choosing Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Ringtone. Then simply choose from artists and tracks stored on your phone. Just let us know if you still need assistance with this. We'll be around! EricW_VZW
