Receiving Texts

I’ve been having trouble getting access to my PayPall account. The two-step verification requires that I enter a 6 digit code sent over a text message, but I never receive the text in question. Do I have to make changes to my plan to receive texts, or can I view them online (If it’s my own number)?

What mobile device do you have? Do you receive text notifications from other applications on your phone? What plan do you have?
