The resolution of pictures in my phone (LG VX5400) is 640 x 480. After I send them to Pix Place they are 60 x 60, which is absolutely useless to me. Why are they reduced and how can I get them into my computer? I signed up for 24 hours for mobile web to try to send to my email. Only after I signed up did they tell me there was also a $1.99 charge per msg. I'd rather send them to Pix Place if there is a way to conserve the resolution.

You don't need Mobile Email to send your pics to your email account!!! Just send them as a pix message but instead of a phone number, put in your email address. It's all covered under text messaging. Once the email comes in the picture should be attached at full resolution.
As far as pix place, sending them there also counts as a text message, and the thumbnail you are shown is just that, a thumbnail. Click on it, and it should allow you to send the pic to your email or save it on a right click at full resolution.

I'm having somewhat of the same problem. The pictures I take are in resolution of 1280x960 so when i send them to my email account they're pretty big. But just today when I sent them to my email account they were tiny! they say they're 640x480. I don't know how the resolution was changed when i took the pictures......I took a random picture at resolution of 1280x960 but in my email it opens at 160x120 resolution. I don't what is going on! and it's really frustrating. So, how where do i go on my phone to keep the resolution i want? i tried my camera settings but apparently it ain't doing the work...is it my email?

wish I could help you, but I am having this problem too with my new samsung intensity. My old Sway didn't do this. Have you learned how to prevent the photos from "losing data?" This is so frustrating, huh?
Does either of your phones have a picture resizing setting in your camera settings?
On my ENV3 I get the message resizing to send and there is no way around it. You can just resize it again once it gets to the computer. Mary
