Ringtone uploads, problem with

When uploading a ringtone to my phone via @vzwpix.com, the ringtone is always truncated (abbreviated, shortened, etc.) to about 3-1/2 seconds in length. The ringtones I am uploading are around 12-15 seconds long, which should not be too long to be usable. Why is this happening?

That is strange.  I make my own as MP3 and send them to my phone all the time and they don't do that.  They just have to be 30 seconds or less.  I make my own using audacity and export as MP3.  Are you making them yourself or getting them some where and are they MP3's?    I have an ENV3 phone.  Mary
