Located in Laurel, DE 19956, Delmar, DE 19940, Delmar, MD 21875 and Hebron, MD 21830. When I'm on wifi calling at home (because Verizon's coverage has gotten so bad) I sometimes immediately receive SMS messages, sometimes I get them 45minutes later, and sometimes it's 8 hours later.
The odd thing is, if it was because of wifi-calling (which has always worked up until about 5 days ago), then why during my entire drive to work while I'm on LTE only do I not receive messages? It's not until I reconnect to Wifi calling at work (where Verizon's coverage is non-existent) when I get a barrage of text messages that have been missed overnight.
We're sorry to hear about the issues you've been having with your text messages. It's our goal to make sure you're able to use your Verizon service as well as possible and we'll do everything we can to help. Are you the only one having problems with text messages being delivered late, or are there other people that you know of? Is it only happening with one number, or are you receiving late texts from multiple numbers? What model device are you using?
