Saving Text Messages

I have text messages saved on my LG-VN350 that I would like to save to my computer. I want to make sure it shows who the messages were from and the date and time stamp of them. Is there a way of doing this? I have tried to send them one at a time to

my email but it just shows it was forwarded but doesn't show who the original message was from. I need to clear these but keep them for other reasons.

There's no way to do that from your phone.

You can do this with BitPim if your phone is compatible. Go to www.BitPim.com to see more info. Its really an amazing software, I saved all of my old texts this way.
