Hope I picked the right place to post.
I have a Motorola One 5G UW android phone.
My daughter recently got a new phone number. There is "Conversation (The red bubble with 2 chat bubbles)" between us I would like to keep before I delete that phone number. Is there a way to archive or save that conversation either to my PC or to the SD card in the phone?

Hi there! We are completely understanding of wanting to keep your messages with your daughter, and we're here to help! Deleting your daughter's old phone number and replacing it with the new number won't delete your messages with her. You'll just want to update her phone number within the already created contact, and ensure you don't delete the message thread. You will still be able to view the messages. Please let us know if this information helped clarify your question! ๐

Hello! I will be happy to help you with this. Have you tried what my coworker had suggested yet?

Candice,
As I replied previously, no I HAVE NOT "tried what your coworker suggested". As I stated there, I already have her new number and conversation there as a "New Contact".
I guess what I need to know at this point is how to safely merge the two while not losing content from either conversation.
