It depends on whether you have a bundled text-messaging plan. If you don't have a text-messaging plan, it costs 20¢ per address for text messages sent or received, and 25¢ for picture messages.
If you DO have a plan and go over your allowance, texts are 10¢ each and picture messages, I believe, are still 25¢.
