Sending texts to update on Twitter

So I have the plan where you get 1500 texts that aren't verizon to verizon. Am I right to assume that updating on twitter uses one of those 1500 or is it an extra cost?

My plan:

Nationwide Basic 450 minutes 39.99 x 19% employee discount of 7.60

1500 Texts @ $15.00

------------------------------------------

47.39

Theoretically, if i switch 2 Naitonwide Select with 450 minutes, I get unlimited texts to any network.

So

Nationwide Select 59.99 x 19% discount of 11.40

-------------------------------------------------------------

48.59 ($1.20 difference)

So for $1.20, I can get unlimited texts to any network and not worry about using my 1500 up, right?

Those will count against your 1500.  When you hit that limit you'll be charged per text.

If you switch to the Nationwide Select you would have no 1500 texts because you would get unlimited text to any network.

I would switch to the Nationwied Select then so you could update Twitter all you want.

Awesome. That's what I thought. At $1.20 extra, why the heck not?

You are correct in all your observations. Going with the Select plan is definitely the most cost effective option.
