i sent a text to a friend who is on vacation at the Virgin Islands from the continental US. It says it is Sent, but there is no Deliver time stamp yet. I was wondering if he would still get them? Perhaps their phone is turned off. If they do receive them later, will i be notified that it was delivered? or will i just have to check my Sent messages to see if it was delivered?
On that same note, I also wondered if it's possible to cancel Sent but not Delivered messages, somehow? Kindof like "recalling" a sent text that was not yet delivered to the handset? Thanks in advance.
to get a receipt from texts go to Menu, Messaging, New Message - Click Settings (left soft key), Delivery Receipt. Trying using this method til your friends some back, or you can forward the orginial message back to them and see if it shows up as delivered. It might also be that they have not read the message yet and thats why its not showing up as being delivered.
