Short code messages- unable to receive

So I just got new phones on the 8th. 3 phone lines total, husband and son chose to get new numbers. I decided to port. I have a Samsung galaxy s21. Activated and ported fine. All other functions of the phone work. However I am not receiving any short code messages from any company at all. I need these for several websites. Calls work fine, text messages between my son/husband/I work fine. If I try to send a code to my phone I just never get it. Help. Checked all message settings and all other troubleshooting steps available. Also was chatting with Verizon earlier to see if there was some block on their end I didn't know about (there isn't) my husband is also receiving short codes fine. Is there some minor issue with me porting even though my calls and such are going through??

We definitely want to make sure that you are able to get short code text messages, Mrsmcgowan07. Are you having trouble with texts from any regular phone numbers?

No seems like I can get regular text messages fine.
