NOW you can CALL FROM YOUR TABLET with Verizon Messages+
Eligibility:
1- Must be a Verizon Wireless customer
2- Verizon Messages must be active on your Mobile device and Tablet
3- Your mobile must be Subscribed to Integrated Messaging (Main Menu>Settings>Integrated Messaging)
3- You must have a mobile phone that is Advanced Calling capable

FIRST - enable advanced calling on your PHONE:
- On the phone go to Settings -> Cellular -> Enable LTE -> Voice & Data.
- It takes up to 15 minutes to be activated.
- Then, go to the Tablet to set up calling on the Verizon Messages app.

LG G PAD 10.1 4G LTE
LG G PAD 7.0 4G LTE
THEN - enable calling on your TABLET Only devices with Advanced Calling capabilities can activate Tablet Calling. How to know if you have advanced calling: 1- Refer to the 'Advanced Calling' link above, or 2- Go to the tablet's app's MAIN MENU- Select one of the blue links to either 'Activate Advanced Calling' or 'Check Eligibility' |  |

PHONE If you have Advanced Calling, a phone icon will show up in your header. THE SCREEN With Voice Calling, you will notice these additional icons on your Tablet screen: Phone- upper right corner Messages+ icon - Select to return to the conversation list Dial Pad - Select to launch the dial pad Contacts- Select to launch your contacts book |

MAKE A CALL This 2 step process is simple 1- Select the dial pad 2- Choose your contact or enter the phone number in the pop up OR 1- Tap on the conversation of the person you want to call 2- Select on the 'PHONE' icon in the corner DIAL PAD & RECENT When you select the Dial Pad from the Footer, you will see a pop up menu with 2 options : Recent - tap on a recent contact to dial directly |  |
Dial Pad - to dial a contact's number RE: Calling Audio is low We understand that the call quality on some devices is very low. We are working on this. For now, after every reboot of the tablet please force close your Message+ App by going to Phone settings ร Application Manager ร Message+ and Force Stop. After force stop restart the App and make your call. |  |
THE ACTIVE CALL SCREEN When you are on a call with 'Maria', you will see her avatar/letter on your screen. Available CALLING MENU options runs along the footer NOTE: Some options are in test mode and may not be active yet on your laptop. |  |
TO CALL A 2nd PERSON 1- Select the 'Phone+' icon in the footer [red box] 2- Use the 'Dial Pad' or choose the contact from 'Recent'. You first call (Maria here) will be placed on hold. MERGE or SWITCH CALLS TO MERGE calls - select the 'merge' icon. TO SWITCH CALLS - Tap on the 1st or 2nd call from the Conversation List HANG UP - Tap the red END button |  |
