TEXT MESSAGE PROBLEM

I am having trouble receiving text messages, they are taking forever to send out and I haven't gotten any at all this morning, this is really aggravating. Is something wrong with the network?

Mine just seem to be coming slow and late, so I'm assuming that it's a network thing.

There is currently an outage for intercarrier SMS (text) and MMS (pix/flix) messages. If you're trying to send or receive messages to or from other carriers, they will likely be delayed or even lost. There is currently no ETA for a fix, but Verizon is working on the issue and will have it resolved as soon as possible.
