I am using the verizon messages online what i'm not sure is, how long does verizon keep messages on record and is there any setting to change that?
Solved! Go to Correct Answer
90 days from the date you install and begin to use, sync, and backup.

? when i recieve/send a message it'll be available online for 90 days??? that's not true!
OK....how long would you say you can access messages online after installing the VM+ app?
i'm not using it via app only online by signing in to my verizon/my device/ send and manage messages and i use to see all my messages now i wanted to see something from last week and i cant!
Those messages are kept for a handful of undetermined days.
so, here's my question again, how long exactly??? and is there any settings for that?
I told you 90 days. If you aren't using the VM+ app, handful means 3-6 days, but you cannot access them. they are kept on Verizon's server for possible governmental purposes.
However, if the message was deleted by you then it can not be recovered.
