Some how my phone number has gotten on the tablet all text are showing up on both from phone how do I fix that?

In Messages, you have integrated messaging, which means multiple devices can be connected together. When connected, texts are sent to both connected devices. If you go into Messages, settings, Manage Devices, click that. It will show the devices that are connected. To stop receiving texts on both the phone and tablet, click Disconnect on the tablet. This should stop the tablet from receiving the text also.
What tablet? (iPad or Android or other).

It will receive messages if I put in my phone number,messages from my phone

I just want messaging on the tablet I don't want my phone messages on it!
The tablet doesn't support text messages sent directly to and from its line of service number. I can only sync with a phone number associated with a cell phone through the Verizon Messages+ application.
