Text messages not showing in the text log in my Verizon account

The sender of the text messages has a T-Mobile account & most likely an android and the other person is on my Verizon account using an IPhone. There are hundreds of text messages that are missing from the text log in my Verizon account to and from these two cell phones. Is there anyway to recover them?

No, we have two Android phones that are the same model. We were using the Verizon messaging app and were forced to switch to the Google messaging app. As soon as we switched, one of the phone lines continued showing all sent and received messages while the other is only showing approximately 10% of the messages sent and received.

Yes, I am referring to the message log in my Verizon account. When we log into the account and go to Usage, one line shows all messages the other only shows about 10%.

Does it appear that standard text messages are missing or are only RCS messages missing linke chat bubbles or rich messaging?

My guess is because the log doesn't recognize Google Messages, and I was told they have no intention of fixing it.

How would google message be used instead of normal text? Dies it come through like a text but through the google account?

You can use the Google Messages app instead of your default app if you prefer. Simply download the app through the Play Store.
