I am really upset that this has obviously been a known issue for years, yet nothing has been resolved per this forum.
My boyfriend & I just discovered this today when I had responded to something he never said!! If I hadn't have said anything, we wouldn't have known!! Once we realized something happened, we decided to send each other screenshots... Sure enough, what he sent me was different than what my phone showed as received!
Special characters/emoticons were NOT involved, nor was the text longer than 160 characters! My boyfriend has a Samsung Note3, and I have an iPhone 4s, BOTH VERIZON...
So what's the deal here?! THIS IS NOT COOL, VERIZON!!!!!
