Text threads opening to old messages.

When I open a conversation in Messages it opens up to very old messages. Is there a setting I'm missing?

What make/model phone/device are you using?  And are you using Verizon Messages+?

As much as I use my text messaging, old messages pulling up is very concerning to me as well DALJON16. So we can clarify, do your new messages not populate? Or are your old messages the only thing that pops up when accessing your text?
