Okay, I'm new to texting and have a dumb question.  If someone sends me a text when I am not in an area with service.  What happens to the text?  Does it wait in a queue until I get service back or does it go "Poof"?

The message should be delivered the next time you are within a service area.  The system will usually attempt to deliver the message for a few day after it was originally sent.
