Think txt scam

Just had a txt from ksksami2@gmail.com (I'm Karl,trying to reach u regarding a possible relative's inheritance.) we replied( I don't know you ) ksksami2@gmail.com (pls email ksambrana@live.com for more info about this inheritance case.) I think its a phasing scam so would like to get feedback and let ppl know about it .

Ya think? If it was true they could call you. They seem to have your number. I wonder if they bought it from Verizon through all of the privacy notice changes that you may not have opted out of. I knew Verizon was just trying to make more money scaming us. Verizon that incompetent, rude, unscroupulous, cold, demeaning, scaming company just trying to make more money for their shareholders.

Where HAVE you been?  I get these all the time on my email (though I haven't ever gotten a text message) and simply delete without replying.  In most cases, they end up in the spam folder anyway.  Replying simply confirms a real email address.

Delete and move on.
