Time stamp issues

I have a LG g4, I use the messaging plus app, today it can't keep text messages in order.  if I send a text, the reply goes above what I sent. My message has their time they sent a reply, while my original sent text has the time stamp they replied back to me.  what is the fix to get this back to normal?  I can deal with the incorrect time stamps, but the replies going above my sent text is driving me nuts and hard to follow what is being said.

Lets ensure messages are being kept in chronological order. Any recent updates to the app? May I ask if you’ve power cycled the device?
