Trouble texting to ONE contact

Ever since the latest update, I'm having trouble sending a text message to only ONE of my contacts using the Verizon Message   app. They receive my texts when I use the Samsung stock app. I have the Galaxy s5 and they have the Galaxy s7 Edge. I have tried all of the "fixes" in past discussions with no success. Any help out there would be appreciated!

Hello GoBlue15,

We definitely want to ensure you are able to use your text messages. In the past few days there have been a few new updates to the Verizon Messages+ app. Please ensure both devices have updated to the newest versions of the app and try sending messages again.
