I have a friend in Canada that I regularly text and now all the sudden I can't receive picture messages from her. Recently I changed my cell phone plan to the New Verizon Plan Small 2GB. Is this new plan the reason I can't receive photos from her? If that isn't the reason, can someone help me?

Let's figure this out. What's the make/model of your phone and your friend's phone? Are you having issues with text messages from anyone else? You mentioned having the 2GB plan, do you have Safety Mode (which slows down data dramatically when you have run out of data) enabled when you have issues with receiving text messages?

Do you have the same issue if your friend sends a group message (no pictures, but MMS)? Do you know who your friend has as their cell service provider?
