I've seen a CHANGE in usage that shows online. The hubby has an iphone & I have android. I understand that his texts sent iphone to iphone won't show on usage..... but until recently OUR messages showed since I use android. But a few months ago, it began only showing PICTURE messages that he sends/receives. Unless it's a pic/video, his usage shows NO texts messages, even to/from androids like mine. What changed?

Hello, Jhale158, we know it's important to be able to review your usage. Can you tell us more about the issue you're running into? Is this an issue with messaging usage only?

I have the same issue right now. Log only shows picture/video but regular text messages arenโt being logged (messages arenโt iMessages so should be logged). Can someone answer or explain?

Thank you for reaching out for assistance as well with tracking your text messages. Have either of you changed the texting app you use? Is this through the app or through the website? If you try the other is it the same results?

No resolutionโฆ i have been getting messages from customer support to keep authenticating every 24 hours but what they donโt understand is i canโt afford to stay logged in and wait for them 24/7 as i am a working adult. I have sent messages asking for other ways to resolve this issue but none offered. They keep telling me their hours of operation but they are not being considerate with customersโ work hours.

Jeez, how do Verizon employees not just *ding* realize this....
Tl;dr: iPhone's don't send and receive text messages the same way other phones do, they do it over the internet as opposed to over the network which, by the network, can be tallied, but it's an outdated system that "Anjama said thumbs down to: SMS Messaging". Hope that helped inform, in lieu of fixing.
Apple sends messages over the internet (RCS) whereas Androids send messages over the network (SMS). That's it that's you're answer. To the android users: tired of getting texts: "Susan loved: I can't wait to get there!" "Mike laughed at: I'm dead bruh" "Carol likes: smelly feet" You know exactly the ones I'm talking about.
Well the App-elites have their fancy internet way of messaging and nobody NOBODY wants to adopt it and what's the alternate? Being an Android. Everything else (Blackberry go play w/your BBS in the sand) is android and is sent as a "text messase" in the traditional sense. Apple (who got the right idea on one thing at least-I mean they just got widgets what, last year? Congrats, how basic).
Have you ever played with Google messages on Android? If you do, you can long-press and react to your friend's and family's messages with emojis now! Woo-hoo! But-here's the clincher-they can do it back and you won't get "Bob cried at: They were out of fries, sorry...", instead you'll see a little crying emoji next to your message. IT'S BASICALLY WHATSAPP. Then go right back to your stock android messenger, like myself, and Bob's back to crying at your messages in text form.
I know I sound like I'm pitching RCS messaging, but it really is gonna be 'the way of the future' once SATA companies get on the bandwagon and leave text messages to the internet, maybe clearing up some room for clearer, better phone calls that don't have to tunnel messages too. Pictures will always be an MMS because you're sending Multiple Media (in a) Message, which can be counted and tallied. But OTA (Over-The-Air) messages won't be counted from an iPhone or by an iPhone because it doesn't sent or receive its' messages via OTA, I guess you would call it OTI, or Over-The-Internet. This has been a fight since around the launch of the iPhone 5 in 2013 when unlimited phone text & data became mainstream and so basic and the real sell was the device now (worked for Verizon re-seller-great experience but we'd get trash commission off of iPhones and everyone just gobbled those iPod touches that make phone calls like candy, it was a hard sell to get a flip-phone convert to lean Android and not follow the trend of Apple Apple Apple but it was easy once Ok Google came out and absolutely crushed Siri).
Anyway I digress. The short answer, iPhone's don't send and receive text messages the same way other phones do, they do it over the internet as opposed to over the network which, by the network, can be tallied, but it's an outdated system that "Anjama said thumbs down to: SMS Messaging". Hope that helped inform, in lieu of fixing.
