The Verizon online app for PCs is the pits! It is simply terrible. So many problems with it, extremely unreliable, fragile, frequently crashes, does not refresh and update, excessive buffering times, etc. I have reached out frequently to tech support with these issues and absolutely no resolution to any of the problems I continue to experience every hour of the day, every day since I started with Verizon years ago. When will this platform be overhauled and made to work effectively and reliably? I have no idea why Verizon refuses to direct resources to solve these issues that Verizon is fully aware of and know are occurring and have occurred ever since the inception and release of the online messaging apps for PCs. WHY, WHY WHY do these problems continue to remain over years, WHY is nothing and has nothing ever been done about it....WHEN WILL Verizon STAND UP TO THE PLATE AND GET THESE ISSUES RESOLVED ONCE AND FOR ALL???
I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with that application. I know how I depend on my service for just about everything. I'm more than happy to take a deeper look into this to see if we can pinpoint what's going on, this way it can be resolved quickly. Are you not able to message from your phone? Have you contacted the app developers?
I posted this in another thread where a person was having issues with messaging from their phone. I don't see why this would help your crashing issue but maybe it'll help with the inconsistency of your messaging from your desktop app.
I was having issues with sending messages from my laptop using the the messages plus windows app. I was having trouble sending messages to my wife who also is a verizon customer . My messages would send fine from my phone but not from the laptop.It would say sent but they wouldn't go through to her or show up on my phone. I went in to the settings in the desktop app and then went to advanced setting and then to enable chat. I turned off the chat option and now the messages to my wife are going through fine plus they are showing up on my phone as they should. Maybe see if the chat option is enabled on your phone app and if it is, maybe turning it off will help. Good luck!
Verizon has more important things to focus on that a niche messaging app.
Use Discord or any of the other programs that were built with messaging as it's main focus.
