Verfication code sent to wrong number

I'm trying to order a free reward from my verizon home internet setup and when trying to place my order, the My Verizon app is asking me to update my contact information. When selecting this, it sends me to a page to send a verification code to the number connected to the wifi itself and not my actual phone number so I can't access it. Is there somewhere I can find these messages or change it to send it to another number or email?

I ordered the verizon home plus wifi setup during the holiday sales and there was a promotion to claim a free Xbox series X when purchasing this plan. When I try to redeem this deal, the app prompts me to update my contact information. Although I have my regular phone number as my registered mobile device in the contact information, the app wants to send a verification code to the wifi data number instead which I cannot access because my phone isn't under verizon

I’m having the same issue. This is super urgent because without it I can’t login my account and when contacted customer support they said they couldn’t do anything about it. I tried call customer support and no one was available to help?? I told them this is an account security issue and it’s urgent they kept telling me I need to call back during normal hours???
