Verification code not sending

I recently got a new phone (Orbic Wonder) and I created a verizon account and paid for the first month. The phone doesn't seem to know this though, despite the information on my account on this website saying that it indeed my phone. I'm trying to connect my phone to my account via the My Verizon app, but when I type in my phone number it tells me that it is texting me a verification code that I need to enter. The problem is, I'm not getting this verification code. You can check your texts on this website, but I am not receiving any texts from Verizon telling me what my verification code is. The app is telling me that my verification code is successfully sent, so where is it being texted to? How do I get ahold of it?
