Verizon AUP#POL Email Blocking Issue

I’m reaching out regarding an issue unrelated to our wholesale account. I'm hoping you might be able to direct me to the appropriate contacts within Verizon who can assist with this matter.

As of around the 28th of this month, our email server logs indicate that Verizon has begun rejecting our messages due to an "AUP#POL" violation, which appears to be related to Verizon’s Acceptable Use Policy. This has impacted our voicemail-to-email service, specifically for customers using the Cell#@vtext.com and Cell#@vzwpix.com addresses to receive voicemail notifications via SMS/MMS.

I would appreciate any guidance on how to proceed. Could you please advise me on how to submit our server address vweb.bayring.com for review, verification, and potential unblocking? Alternatively, if there is someone I can speak with to better understand the issue and how to align with Verizon’s policy, we would be grateful for the introduction.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Vtext and VzwPix aren't supported any longer.  Can't remember exactly when the big discussions going on about this were happening, but it was at least a year ago.  I'm surprised Verizon hasn't just retired these apps, but the last rumor I'd heard from was they were "tightening the filters gradually" over time to get it to where nothing will work through them.

I have heard business customers have something new called EMAG to use, but have also read that's not exactly the same thing.  Maybe you will have to find a completely different 3rd party app to do email to text?

Does your business subscribe to the business version of email-to-text, because the personal version has been discontinued?

Hi Jav6. I've read that rumor on other posts dating back years. I don't believe it to be factually accurate. My customers have functioned this way for years. I also still can email my cell phone from multiple sources with no business relationship today. So services aren't discontinued from what I can see.

I do have an email submitted with our Verizon Business partner to see if he can locate someone who will speak with me. If that goes anywhere, I'll reply here with what I find.
