I usually log into AOL for incoming mail, but I use ......@verizon.net for outgoing emails. I just received(4-1-24) an email saying I have to upgrade by 4-4-24 to a new version of 'Verizon Mail' as they are closing the old version. I'm not 'tech' savvy so should I be concerned
This is definitely an odd email. What's the sender? It is recommended to stick to your daily email carrier for any updates. ~Geo
Sounds like a fake email to me but like the other reply, look at the email address that sent it. There is no Verizon Mail system anymore as it's handled by AOL which in turn I believe is handled by Yahoo. If you still have a question on the validity of the email I would contact contact AOL support.
