Is it in regards to the actual content of the message when you type in a number that is not highlighted? If so, are you typing a 10 digit mobile number that is not showing in blue? I would appreciate those details.

Yes, in the past when you typed a phone number and sent it to someone it
would show up in blue with the underline and it allowed you to select it
and it would bring up the phone app so you could call that number without
having to copy it or retype it
