Hello, I use a Prepaid mobile service that has a VZW SIMM / Carrier, on my Samsung Galaxy phone, which has the Message+ installed as my primary, default messaging app. I am also a Yahoo member / Y! Mail since about 2006, which is a Verizon service.
About 10 plus years ago, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX7 was equipped with 4G LTE. They came with Verizon (VZW) SIMM or one other Company SIMM. At Amazon's Appstore, you download and install Message+app. Years later Verizon support made a download link available to install, on newer OS versions. I had the other company SIMM, but still had Message+ installed and it worked.
Now, I have a new Amazon Kindle Fire HD8+ with out the LTE. I am trying to find out if a download Verizon Messages is available for newer versions of Kindle Fire? I was busy most of the day and night on the Message+ app. It would be nice to be able to check, read, and/or respond to texts on my Kindle Fire Tablet.
Ciao! 🙂 Bella

If you search this forum for 'Message+' you'll find numerous threads regarding issues with Message+ and the entire platform being discontinued/sunsetted. Verizon is recommending using other messaging services.
