Verizon Messages+ Not Alerting or Showing Group Messages

I have an issue with Verizon Messages+ not alerting or showing Group Messages when hooked up to Android Auto.  All other texts come through except the Group ones.  Group messages come through with Google Messages just fine.  Verizon's app is the only one I have a problem with.  This is  a Verizon issue, not an Android Auto issue.  I have had this issue only with Verizon's Message+ app and it has also been a problem with other phones and phone brands with the Message+ app.   There must be a solution out there somewhere.  I am currently using a Samsung S22 Ultra, but this has been issues with Motorola and LG phones also.  Please help.

mcharron11, I rely on text to communicate, so I know how important it is to get notified and show new messages to ensure that nothing is missed.  We are here to work toward a resolution. To confirm, are the phone's software and the app up to date? How is the cellular data connection working with Wi-Fi off?

All software is up to date.  I am usually on 5G or 4G with the wifi off.  As I said this is an issue with just the Verizon app, so my wife does not get her group messages either.  The app was lasted updated on January 14 to version 8.3.7
