I have a Verizon Kyocera Cadence LTE flip phone. I have been texting for years on my desktop, Windows 7 on a Dell that is old enough it cannot support Windows 10. But it's been working fine, until just recently, with the latest upgrade of the Verizon welcome screen. There is still obviously a connection between my flip phone and MyVerizon online. But sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, or only partially.
So, here's my question:
If I download Verizon Messages to my Kyocera flip phone and link it to my desktop/MyVerizon (can I even do that?), will that make the connection between my phone and MyVerizon run more smoothly? Will it mess it up further? Will it have any effect at all?
And will adding Verizon Messages to my flip phone make it more complicated to operate or to send and receive text messages?
I kinda want to know what it's going to do to my non-smartphone flip phone before I click on "download now."
Thanks much
