Verizon Messages has received yet another update. Verison 6.4.5 was released late 2/10/17. From the Play Store description:

On the current version, I am unable to receive or send messages via my Android Wear (huawei watch) when I have no wifi connection. It appears the android wear app itself will not check with the phone via blue tooth unless I'm the watch itself is connected to WiFi. This is a major issue when I'm on public transportation or other locations where I have no wifi. Message+ on the phone continues to receive just fine; it just won't notify my watch or let me respond to it.
I'm having the same problem with my Tag Heuer Connected since the latest update to message+. Message+ won't send texts to the watch unless the watch is on wifi. Everything was fine until the update last week. Very annoying...Verizon please fix this!
