When I receive or send pictures thru my Verizon Messenger (which I've been using forever) since the latest update they show up on the feed as the last picture I sent, however when I click on the picture the new picture shows up. The pictures are no longer showing up as separately sent. I have uninstalled and when I do NOT install the update it works fine.

Good thinking on uninstalling, NATCRO18. Let’s make sure to make it work like it had in the past. What is the make and model of the device that you are using?
If I follow correctly, when you RECIEVE a picture, then it’s showing as a picture SENT in the feed. Is that right?
