Verizon Messenger Missing Gifs

The SEARCH option (and maybe other features) in Verizon Message+ was removed with the update 10/20.  Is that where you were getting your Gifs?

So basicly from what I have read, Verizon took away the search option and added Yelp.

I guess this is another example of money over satisfied customers.

We want you to enjoy the features that our messaging application offers. With regard to the current application we do not have an option to attach GIFs in a message. We are always making updates to our services and products, so this may be one that we add in the near future.

So in other words take a feature people like and is functional.  Break it. Then maybe we’ll fix it later.   This free agent will be looking at Consumer Cellular or T-Mobile if this function isn’t restored before 2024.

This is an unnecessary "update" removing a common use function within Messenger + for yelp that already has a dedicated app for those who WANT it.

What a ridiculously poor decision / idea Verizon!!

The GIFs option best be restored in the coming weeks or I will be moving on to a gif friendly messaging service provider.

Seriously where did it go? They just replaced it with yelp? Is there a way to undo the update? That does me no good and now it is so inconvenient to attach gifs and include a message with it. Please bring it back. This is an unnecessary "update" and didn't add any value to message+ IMO

I switched over to Google keyboard on all apps. Works great. It has a built-in gif finder. It also way more of my favorite gifs that Verizon search didn't have. Hope this helps.
